Explore our outdoor Pumpkin Patch, choose from pumpkins in different colours, shapes and sizes, make your way through the Maize Walk and see our gorgeous Baby Highland cows in their paddock.

You can also step inside our fully covered Pumpkin Barn, packed with pumpkins, Halloween art walls, impressive seasonal displays and fantastic family photo opportunities.

Whether you are looking for pumpkin picking near Southend, an affordable family day out in Essex or somewhere special to capture your autumn photographs, Scott’s Pumpkin Patch has something for everyone.

Each booking session lasts 90 minutes, giving you plenty of time to explore the event.

Opening Dates & Times

Scott’s Pumpkin Patch is open from 10am until 5pm on the following dates:

• Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th October
• Wednesday 7th to Sunday 11th October
• Wednesday 14th to Sunday 18th October
• Wednesday 21st to Sunday 25th October
• Monday 26th to Saturday 31st October for half term

 

Last entry is at 3.30pm. Last entry is in place to ensure everyone has enough time to enjoy the Pumpkin Patch before the event closes at 5pm.

 

We are CLOSED on:

• Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th October
• Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th October
• Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th October

Off Peak Admission

Valid from 1st to 16th October:

• Online admission: £4.95 per Adult and £4.95 per Child
• Admission on the door: £5.95 Adult and £5.95 per Child
• Children under two: Free
• Qualifying carers: Free (with a valid DLA, PIP or Access Card)

Pumpkins, food, drinks, merchandise and optional activities are not included with admission.

Peak Admission

Valid from 17th to 31st October:

• Online admission: £6.95 per Adult and £6.95 per Child.
• Admission on the door: £7.95 per Adult and £7.95 per Child.
• Children under two: Free
• Qualifying carers: Free (with a valid DLA, PIP or Access Card)

Every person entering the event requires a valid ticket, including children under two and complimentary carers.

Walk-in admission is subject to availability. We recommend booking online to secure your preferred date and arrival time and receive the lowest admission price. If we are at full capacity we will be unable to allow walk in's.

Visiting On A Weekday?

Joining us on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday outside of October half term? These are our quieter Pumpkin Patch days and a great option if you’re looking for a relaxed autumn visit.

Your admission still includes the full core Pumpkin Patch experience. Explore the outdoor patch, step inside our covered Pumpkin Barn, take on the Maize Walk, see our Highland cows and discover plenty of autumn displays and photo opportunities along the way.

You can also choose your favourite pumpkins to purchase and take home, with pumpkins available from £1.

Food & Drink On Weekdays

There will be no food or drink traders operating inside the Pumpkin Patch on weekdays outside of half term.

Don't worry, you can still make a day of it! Our popular Scott’s Kitchen restaurant will be open inside the main garden centre, serving breakfast, lunch, drinks, cakes and more.

If you’d like to eat before or after your Pumpkin Patch visit, we recommend booking your table in advance.

Once you leave the event you are unable to re-enter. So make sure you bring everything you need in with you and book your table in our restaurant either before or after your pumpkin patch session

Where To Find The Event

Scott’s Pumpkin Patch is held in the field and polytunnel on the right-hand side of the site. The event has its own entrance, which is accessible directly from the car park.

Please follow the Pumpkin Patch signs when you arrive.
